Asus K8V-MX No Audio!

I found the issue! For some reason, SP2 will make the device unoperational. Windows will show the device with driver installed, and "working properly" status under Device Manager, but the "sound/Audio" under Control Panel will show "no device". I reinstalled XP without SP2, and the device works fine.
