I have the following:-
Asus K8V Mobo
Athlon 64 3000+
6800 Ultra 256MB
Raid Disks etc
I also have 1GB of Corsair XMS Extreme 4000 memory.
I know its not optimal. However, I can use ClockGen to get it to about 216MHZ in tandom with the CPU being clocked. However, this memory is of course rated at 500MHZ. Is there any way with this mobo I can set the memory speed to 500MHZ or 250MHZ so to speak without linking it to the CPU ramping up?
In the BIOS (1008 latest) I can set it to 2:1 400Mhz which is the fastest I can go to...any ideas or a way to better this?
