I recently bought a K8N-E motherboard. I would like to install all my initial software, then create an image of my machine for quick rebuilds if necessary.
The problem I've run across is finding a NDIS 2 driver for the built in NIC port.
The port is made by Marvell, listed in the 'tranceiver' section (88E1111 is the part#). I've tried a driver from their website for PC Connectivity, but it failed to recognize the NIC upon floppy boot.
I verified the NIC works fine in Windows XP. I have also tried Brad's and Bart's bootdisks from bootdisk.com, but neither had a sufficient driver.
I'd appreciate any suggestions... I've decided that I'll probably have to get a PCI NIC to solve the issue.
Thank you,
Ken
