Asus K8N-DL Opteron Config

For my next rig, I'm considering a dual Opteron 244 workstation based on the Asus K8N-DL (nForce Pro 2200, standard ATX, non-SLI), and I'd like to know if the OCZ Powerstream 520W PSU would suffice. The unit has a 33A rating on its single +12V rail. If not, then would the 600W Powerstream suffice with a 20A rating on its 1st 12V rail and 18A rating on its 2nd 12V rail (again, this is a non-SLI setup, but with a PCIe 6800 standard, 2x 36.7GB Raptors, and a single optical drive at most)? Which would be best for system stability? Thanks.

Why do you want an Opteron system ? memory > 4 gig ??
The board you linked doesn't even have any 64bit pci slots...
Iwill is comming out w/ a SLI mobo that will have 3 - 64bit pci slots..

BTW dual cpu motherboards don't work very well w/ dual rail psu's.. Look for a EPS ps ie. Antec 550EPS

Jose

I've known about the IWill board since like October, and I don't really have a need for a PCI-X slot or SLI or a huge extended ATX case (thus the appeal of an nForce Pro 2200 in a standard ATX form factor). I figured I'd go all out on my next machine, but after reading GamePC's review, I noticed that the K8N-DL doesn't have nVIDIA's onboard GBe, which really ticks me off. So now I'm reconsidering that board. Thanks for the suggestion...also, do you mean the True550 EPS 12V?

it would be good for stabilty, but the best is PC&C 510 express . if you have to ask the price then you dont really need one.

I don't remember asking about the price, but thanks for the suggestion.
