I've finally gotten around to overclocking my Slot A Athlon 950 on an ASUS K7V up to 1050 (10x105Mhz). Cool. But I found along the way that the "jumperless" settings of the jumpers din't enable me to set the FSB freq in the bios. I set all the jumpers mentioned in the manual to their "jumperless" settings. The bios setting was grayed out at 100Mhz. Even if I changed the jumpers for FSB, the BIOS and CpuZ thought I was still at 100Mhz, although cpumark clearly showed the effect of the higher FSB rate. Finally, I went totally to jumper mode and was able to get what I wanted. Using the jumpers, the bios and CpuZ give the correct values. Has anybody else experience this? Or am I missing something?
TIA,
