Asus K7M MB

Hi, I was planning on building my own system and I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what type of memory I need for a Athlon ~700 on a K7M MB.

Thanks in advance for any help, and if at all possible, please e-mail me at ian@v-wave.com with your response.

You can use any memory you want, as long as you run at default speeds. If you are pushing it, then get good stuff. My friend has 384 megs of generic pc-100 in his K7M with a t-bird 700. It works like a champ. BTW, if you are going to install win2k, make sure you have the promise drivers on a floppy so you can access them during setup. We did run into problems with all 4 ide controllers installing win2k, win98 was fine though.
