Asus Instant Music

I have an Asus P4P800-E Deluxe Motherboard and was screwing around with the BIOS and turned on the Instant Music feature to see how it is. I enabled it in the BIOS and set the CD-ROM to use. I turned off my computer and pressed Esc and then F1 and like tried all of the buttons but it doesn't want to work. Any ideas? Am I missing something? I have the audio cable plugged in from the CD-ROM to the black CD in 4-pin connector on the motherboard I tried plugging in my speakers to the CD-ROM headphones connector and to the speaker out.

Your cd wasn't an mp3 was it? It doesn't work with mp3(I don't think).

With my ASUS A8V, there was a jumper on the board that I had to change so that the keyboard could wake the system up. Look through your manual and try that

And it was not an mp3 CD.

When I set the jumper I pressed Esc/Space and my computer turned on... Instant Music didn't work and the point of Instant Music is so your computer is off and you play the CD.

Did you make sure that ACPI 2.0 was enabled under power management in the BIOS

Enabled it, but it still doesn't work.

Try turning off the Keyboard Poweron option. I have the same motherboard too

Its disabled. I think all of the power on options are disabled (power on by PS/2 mouse or keyboard, etc.).
