I read about the way ASUS will handle the faulty Sandy Bridge mobos recall here on AnandTech and want to share my experience.
It might be Canada-specific but the short of it is: think twice before you go for it.
The turnaround time is claimed to be 3 days. In my case it isn't done in two weeks. You will be getting regularly e-mails from some Asus staff about how "terribly sorry" they are, "thank you for your kind understanding" and other crap but no replacement boards.
Keep this in mind.
