I think this is what a lot of people were looking for?

ASUS’s Latest GeForce GTX 950 Graphics Card Requires No 6-Pin Connector – Features Up To 1228 MHz Boost Clocks
The ASUS model on the other hand features the same GPU specifications (Cores and Memory) but the clock speeds are boosted to 1051 MHz (Base) and 1228 MHz (Boost). Even with boosted clock speeds, the card doesn’t require a 6-Pin connector and has a TDP of up to 75W.

Why isn't this sub-75W no 6-pin connector card not in mini form factor. Dual fans. o_O My "fully enabled" 4GB 960 is perfectly fine with a single fan (the mini evga model).

up to 75W, no additional PCIe power required

If this is right and Asus didn't mess up the specs, GTX 750 Ti probably has been discontinued in favour of GTX 950 with HEVC fixed function hardware decoding, both 8/10bit & VP9 hardware decoding(requires latest 361/362 or later drivers) & HDMI 2.0, making it very attractive for HTPC usage since it doesn't require extra power and GTX 750 Ti doesn't support those features.

Exactly what I need for my new build. Good find!

Now... hopefully it's not premium-priced or it'd be better just to get a bigger SFX power supply.

I was waiting for this card to launch. But still not sure if this is a cut down 950 or a fully functional 950? Also what about the price? When will we see other board partner launch their 950 without pcie power? When will the reviews start rolling in? Will Anandtech even bother reviewing it considering they never bothered with the 960? So many questions and so few answers...

It's a full 950.

It looks like Nvidia felt the threat from... Intel and their Skylake Iris Pro.

I genuinely like this GPU very much. 65W quad core CPU plus 75W GPU, and we end up with really powerful and efficient desktop.

No, it's Polaris 10. Which sure enough looks like it will be formally announced on Monday. Perhaps they were able to bin better to get the power down from 90 to 75 for the full 950.

Its weird, since a bus powered 50W TDP R7 360 was also announced today??

Ooooo... now there's a good low-profile candidate!

[Edit] Whoops... thought it was faster than that one. Never mind.

Not sure we'll see low profile versions very soon. From what I gather, it would retire a complete redo of the PCB and that's not easy.
