Hey all. Is any sense to change Asus Gtx 780 Ti DirectCuII OC to REFERENCE 980 GTX? We all known that Gtx 980 is faster than 780 Ti but stock vs stock. But i am asking is any sense to change OC VERSION ASUS GTX 780 Ti DirectCuII to REFERENCE 980? Thx

What i found is here:

http://www.kitguru.net/components/graphic-cards/zardon/nvidia-geforce-gtx-980-review/15/

Reading that test Gtx 980 is slower ( or the same ) than Asus 780 Ti DirectCu II OC. This test can be trustful and real? Is Asus 780 Ti DirectCu II OC really faster or the same like REFERENCE 980 ? Thx

lets see ... if you sell your 780 and get 980 with same price that will be awesome ... even if you get 970 that will be good .... you will get 97% performance for a lot less power and will save money in the future...

about your question .. OCed 780 TI maybe beat 980 stock on some games but with driver performance boosts even OC ed 780 won't have a chance i guess

I could send it back without any loss. I can get my full money back.

If you can get a full refund on the 780Ti you should probably do it. 980 is faster for less money.

Keep in mind you can always overclock the reference 980, and get better performance than an overclocked 780Ti. Overclocking headroom so far has been reported to be very high on the 980.

+1

With full money back ! but imho 980 does not worth 220$ over 970 ... better get with single 970 or even dual 970s
