Asus GTX 750 Ti Strix 4GB -- Where is it?

So whatever happened to this? It was announced in February... is the lag between the announcement and arrival in the retail channel normally measured in months? Did the nearly universal shrug from the gaming community kill it?

I need a new card soon and I like the idea of 4GB of memory for photo production work along with the modest power requirements.

I'm not sure what the point of a 750 Ti with 4GB would be, seems like overkill. I don't think there's going to be a lot of situations where you'd be able to crank the settings enough to to fill more than 2gb of VRAM but still have playable framerates on that card anyway. And you can't SLI the 750 Ti unfortunately, otherwise there might be some justification for it.

The extra memory is going to push the price up.

If 4gb doesn't make sense on a 960, it surely doesn't make sense on a 750.

If you just want 4gb of ddr5 vram for photo work, there are cheaper cards out there

This GT740 has 4gb of ddr5 and is only 64watts

I'd rather have a Maxwell card. Guess I'll go with the 750 ti 2GB version since Asus seems to be promoting vaporware.

Maybe an EVGA GT 740 4GB GDDR5...? but it's a Kepler. Performance is probably around one half of 750 Ti.
