It's been listed on Amazon since Thursday - Date first available at Amazon.com: May 10, 2012

Sadly, it was never in stock and they've given no ETA.

Edit: On the bright side they are apparently beginning to show up. Sure it's on the other side of the pond, but overclockers UK is the first place I've seen claiming to have 'em in stock - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-278-AS

Edit 2: And then a few places in Germany have expected availability dates of May 16th on their product page, so here's to hoping that US availability won't be too far behind.

I know people complained about the Asus card's overhang on the 7850, it would be funny if they used the stock GTX 670 6" PCB on this card :)

It uses a non-reference design pcb

reviews of this card are out there.

I'd love to buy the TOP card but don't need to be dropping that much coin on a gpu.

Nice! If the price is right... I may get this instead of EVGA! Well... if EVGA ever comes back in stock on AMAZON...D:

Well that was fast - Gigabytes are sold out on Amazon again. Doesn't seem like too many people are waiting!

Well it does include a better cooler, slightly higher tdp due to having 6 and 8 pin connectors, more vrms, and oc out of the box for the same price. I got lucky and snagged one on day one. :)

Those aren't sold and shipped by Amazon. The posts before were referring to direct Amazon stock at MSRP.

Are these non reference coolers quieter than the stock at load? My galaxy reference gtx670 has an annoying whine compared to my 6970 while gaming.

I believe that both TechPowerUp and Guru3d's reviews are both of the TOP unit. At one point though, TechPowerUp's review did not say so in the title, but they have corrected it now.
I'm sure you'll easily be able to flash the regular with the top bios

What differentiates the TOP and normal models? Are the TOP ones simply binned for higher clocks?

I find it crazy that Asus didn't have this card available for launch. Just as EVGA doesn't have their FTW model available at retail yet which is on the full size GTX 680 PCB.

Asus likes to make people wait. Were still waiting on the Maximus V Extreme a month after launch

I must admit though, Asus seems to have some really loyal followers for their video card models.
