I'm not one to complain & I usually never have had a problem w/ Asus -- except: I purchased 2 Asus gtx570 DCII's and had to RMA one of them -- which they received on 09/29/2011. It's been 12 days since the card has been in their possession w/o an update. I've called every day for the past 5 business days and initially they said they never received it which was a lie. Next, they said there was an issue w/ the serial # not matching the RMA submitted (Hmmmm). Now, they can't seem to get in touch w/ their own servicing center via email to get an update themselves. What a joke! Telling me to call back in 24-48 hours every time is just ridiculous. Let's get professional Asus!

That seems unacceptable to me. I've always viewed ASUS GPU's as being in my top 3, but perhaps this will cause me to re-evaluate.

I've done one VGA RMA with Asus. It took 2 -3 weeks before I got my replacement card back. They do have a reputation of not being the easiest to contact. If warranty support is the most important criteria, I'd buy an eVGA card.

Business as usual there. I'm not sure the service center is even on site with the tech repair people. They check a computer for your serial number and nothing more. Take it with a huge grain of salt.

But yes, EVGA has the best support. Even though I love the ASUS GPU designs, I always buy EVGA for this reason.

You'll get your card back from Asus eventually, but their communication is piss poor. Gigabyte is the same story. There are actually a lot of vendors like this.

The only ones I've seen with good communication are evga, xfx and bfg back before they went bust.

Yeah, I dont know what it is, but it seems companies customer service and RMA services have gone down hill in the past 5 years or so.

It seems like nobody compares to EVGA now.... It makes it hard for me to purchase a video card now cause most companies that sell them have trash RMA services.

I just RMA'd a 8800GT with them without a receipt(which took some discussion on my part with them since they do not allow that), ultimately accepted my RMA and it took less than a week from the time I shipped my old 8800GT back to receiving a new one.
