I have an Asus MoBo and it came with the GP Diagnostics card. Is this something I can use as a "regular" user; meaning, while the computer is connected normally or is it only for test benches and open-top rigs without a case per se?

The card has some cool LEDs (for MoBo temps?) and it's just sitting in my MoBo case so I would like to use it.

Anyone use one of these before? What's its purpose? To "diagnose" what?

That's actually a pretty handy tool to have when you need to diagnose any problems you may have with your mobo. The numbers display an error code then all you need to do is research what a particular code refers to and the fix for it. You only need to insert it into an available pci slot when needed. BTW what is the mobo model number?
