im jus wondering how the following 2 vid cards compare:
1. asus GF4 ti4200 "V9280TD" 8x 64mb ddr
2. visiontek GF4 ti4600 ddr 4x 128mb ddr
i just built a computer for a friend using the asus vid card and tested its benchmarks using 3dmark2001. it scored around 9600. (i was shocked to see such high score). i've tested other 4x ti4200's (128mb ddr) and they only managed to score around 8000. i havent had chance to test out the visiontek one.
the test was performed with
epox 8kha+ (dont think its 8x compatible) with amd 1800+ with 512 crucial ram.
