Asus Geforce 6150 (nforce 430) Problem?

I have the above asus motherboard with integrated graphics and sometimes the USB ports seem to just stop responding. Specifically when I go to print I will get no response from the printer until I restart. It's like the computer loses connection with the printer through the USB port. Anyone have any idea what could be wrong?
 
I had that problem with my MSI K9N Platinum with the V1.0 BIOS. The USB mouse I had would just stop moving sometimes and using different USB ports wouldn't do anything. But after I updated the BIOS it seemed to work fine.

Also, be glad your USB problems aren't as bad as that of one of my friends whose computer restarts every time you stick a USB Flash Drive in one of the ports 😀
