Asus fx5600 video issue

After returning a defective Asus 4800ti card I decided to get the more modern FX5600 with the 256mb memory. Card works pretty well with the exception that the screen resizes whenever I exit out of any full screen graphic program or game. I am assuming the card is not remembering the screen size as my task bar is almost off the screen and my left icons are are almost off to the left. Same at the top and right. To fix it I go into the asus control panel and select a different screen size and resolution and then switch back to my original it is all okay again. Any ideas? Driver issues?


ANy help or thoughts greatly appreciated.
