asus f3ka + linux , help?

i've had this laptop for about a week, and i've downloaded more different linux distributions since it arrived than i did when i first started using linux. most live discs won't boot and most installers won't load (i'd prefer to try a live disc first).

what i want to know, is if anyone has this laptop and uses linux? i can only get ubuntu and knoppix to boot, but no wireless and plenty of gpu frustrations.
