alright, so i have a f3jp. has a radeon mobility x1700 in it, and here lies the problem, ati doesnt support a mobility x1700...so where do the drivers come from then? anyone know of any that work with it?

Ati does not make new mobile drivers. I would know, my laptops drivers are 2 years old. Here is the download link to the asus download page, just pick your product(laptop), your series (f3) and model (f3jp). Than click on VGA and download the driver.

well, i downloaded em, took awhile, it seems it only updated the graphics drivers and thats about it, thanks.
