Edit: Also on ebay, minus the promo code.

How does the 12GB variant compare to the RX 5700 and RX 6600 / XT?

Edit: Or are the 2060 12GB on the same performance level as the 3050, and I just spent double what a $250 3050 would have cost me?

Nah, you are way better off than a 3050, in fact I read somewhere the 2060 12GB is more of a mining GPU now, since it does not have LHR :D
People don't realize how extremely limited the 3050, 3050TI, and 3060 truly are. Fun starts at 3060Ti I believe.

Tell you what the new 2060 12gb is slightly faster then a 3050 and substantially faster then a 1660 Super or Ti however neither one of these cards is really usable with R/T on and its expensive.

Unless mining is your goal I'd be on Ebay looking at a used 980ti or even a "vanilla" GTX-980 instead. The AMD RX-570/580 4gb cards will also do okay and should be FAR cheaper.

My guess is it would be comparable to the RX 5700 in most games, but with a bit more memory, if that matters. In mining I presume the RX 5700 cards are still much better.

A 5700 is roughly the same performance as a GTX-1080 Ti or a 2060 Super in gaming and will out-perform either one significantly for mining.... in fact along with the Radeon 7 they are about the best mining cards available from the previous generation.

I would agree for the most part, but I thought that the 1080Ti was more in line with a 2070(S) or 5700XT in gaming?

And yeah, 5700(XT) cards can do over 50MH/s on ETH, at under 100W if they are a good enough card. I know my Sapphire Nitro+ does 50MH/s at 90W. More is likely possible with further tuning and a BIOS flash.

Actually meant to put an "XT" there lol ... my bad!

Non-XT's are slightly slower... more like a 1080 non-Ti.

Are we talking about mining or gaming/other? The impression I got when researching this was that if mining wasn't your thing the 3060 LHR was the way to go. Granted, this a bit cheaper than a 3060 seems to be going for these days.

Newegg wants up to $489 for a 3050 as well, though. You're getting ripped off either way.
