or others (Sapphire VaporX, etc.)? On a GTX 560, GTX 570 and a Radeon HD6950. Which one is quietest/coolest?

It's debateable. After recently switching from an old Asus 8800GTS to a new MSI Cyclone GTX 460, I have to say I'm very happy with MSI which surprises me TBH.

I've heard that the twin frozr is fantastic, but take it from me, the cyclone is great as well. It's quiet and keeps the card extremely cool, even under heavy load.

Take it for what it's worth, the \tTwin frozr II has two fans on it, ASUS DirectCU only has one fan. I have not had personal experience with the directCU cards, but I have a twin frozr II and at 40% it's both inaudible over my case fans and keeps my bastard-child gtx465 very, very cool. Idling at 34 degrees right now.

The fans on the Twin Frozr II are pretty small, though. 80mm and very thin as well. Whereas I think a lot of single fan coolers are 92mm (pretty sure the Cyclone is at least, not as sure about DirectCU) and thicker as well, so it won't need to spin as fast to push the same amount of air.

But truthfully I don't think you can go wrong with either, both seem to be great coolers. I'd probably pick the Twin Frozr II because I think it looks better, but that's just me. :p
