Asus direct CU gtx 580 owners needed for questioning

What's the idle/load temps? Does it keep vrm's cool when under stress from more volts and higher clock speeds? Does the 2 8 pin connectors really help any for getting more out of the card? Are you seeing higher clocks and lower temps than reference owners?

I haven't run furmark or any stress tests on mine, but from a gpu-z log the highest temps I saw were 53 degrees at 21% fan speed and 91% load.

Depending on how high I have the heat in my apartment, it idles between 29-34 degrees.

I haven't overclocked it yet either, so can't help you there much.

Once I finish furnishing the new apartment in a week or so, I'll have some time on a weekend to play around more with it.

I know Castiel on here has one he's overclocked, so he'll probably have some better answers for you.

Idle : 26C - Modified idle voltage in bios
Load at 1Ghz at 1.2v: 78C

Yes it keeps the VRM's cooler and allow's for some very high clock speeds. The reference 580's won't even come close to temps of the directcu
