Just wanted to ask whether this is a dependable board or not. and if not what would work well in the way of a board that could take over 1 gb of 133 sdram (preferably 4 dimm slots), ultra ata 100/66/33, p3 1 ghz processor, and have at least 4 pci slots and an agp slot (oh, and of course a USB port or 2).

The CUV4X-E is an excellent board, essentially a second generation CUV4X. In most cases it seems to overcome all of the deficiencies of the first board.

6PCI slots, 4DIMMs, AGP Pro and VIA 686B ATA100 Controller.

Usual issues apply as with all VIA boards....you need the 4-in-1 drivers and the 686B South Bridge is subject to that SBLive problem.

Please see this.

ASUS also has BIOS updates to workaround the problem.
