Can anyone tell me the phone number of ASUS customer service here in the US?

I tried to find the number on their website but either I am stupid or they really did not post it on their website. I need to contact their RMA department.

At first glance I thought you had posted the PH. # for the BBB in addition to Asus' PH. # ..... ;)

Hmmm... I might need the BBB eventually. I have to say I expected a little more from ASUS. I sent them an email requesting help with an RMA but haven't heard anything. So I think I will call, but nowhere on their website do I find a phone number. Except the one that is "reserved" for notebook questions and the one in Taiwan.

I hope this issue will get resolved by today, now that I have the number I can call them up and "bitch".

Well, my experience has been they seldom if ever respond to emails, but once you get them on the phone you should be golden.

Just make sure you get your RMA/swap done before the Chinese New Year begins. ;)

Yeah, I will call the today. I am not waiting for a response via email.

I hope they get it right this time. Will be the second time this board goes back. The first time it came back as ok, they didn't even fix anything, just said it was working fine for them. Now the darn thing is completly gone.
I am pretty sure I can sort things out once I get a hold of someone. Wasn't impressed by the fact that their phone number is nowwhere to be found on their website.

Is it really that bad?

Ok, I did not have the best of experiences but at least I was able to talk to someone last time I called, without holding the line forever!

It appears the site in Newark, CA is for distribution whereas all the support is out of Taiwan. Last time I had a problem a friendly lady from Taiwan tried to resolve the issue, the US site never got involved till I wanted to RMA my board.
And now that I tried dealing with the people in CA directly: no answer yet. But we are gonna take care of that. I want my computer to work, it's been too long.
