Asus CUSL2 or P3V4X?

Is the CUSL2 much better? I need to upgrade and would also like to install IDE RAID. Have SBLive, so how's the compatibility on both?

My roommate just upgraded from the P3V4X to the CUSL2 and he loves it. The CUSL2 is more stable so he can run his P3 500e at 700. SB Live! cards work great in both his computer and in mine. I would recommend the CUSL2 over the P3V4X.

I have SBLive on the asus,no problems. Man, this CUSl2 completely blows away my bx6r2. I don't complaint & 5 USB onboard with 2 in front that I don't use... how good is that ?

Memory bandwidth is drastically better on the CUSL2. However, you have 512megs max... but I doubt you'll need that much for awhile, so CUSL2 is my suggestion.

my decision back over a month ago was between cusl2 and abits se6. i got the cusl2 at the recommendation of ppl here and reviews. i love the board. it's a big step up from my abit be6-2.

The CUSL2 is faster than the P3V4X, although the memory bandwidth (as stated above) is somewhat reduced. Go for the CUSL2....performs better, has more features.

i ever owe p3v4x and i switch to cusl2 and feel satisfied here! with p3v4x my 800 only can do 920, with cusl2 i can get 1000 stable!

Unless your in a big hurry, Abit is hitting the market with a new 815e board that has RAID. I have the SE6 Abit board and I too contemplated over the CUSL2 before buying the SE6. I don't need more than the onboard video and audio, so I save on the add on cards.
Abit has only one Bios update. Very stable.
