Asus CUSL2-C What Processor?

The CUSL2-C will support any Coppermine processor, the fastest being the Pentium III and Celerons at 1.1GHz.

This board will not support Tualatin processors.

Make sure that you have the latest BIOS for your board before you upgrade.

What is your current processor? With not much of an upgrade path, it may be more worth your while picking up a Pentium 4 1.6A and a new board.

Thanks for the reply,
So there shouldn't be a problem with it clocked to 1.1 after a bios checkup? I noticed it says 733+.
Actually, I've got several systems here already, I'm just in need of an extra system for a LAN Party. Thought I might stop by the local Comp store and pickup a 1.1a to in replace of the 667, and then throw the 667 on a server.. just some cpu swapping arounds.
Thnx Again.

1.1a will not work it's tulatin! go to newegg.com or googlegear.com and order a NON-'a' celeron.

DaveSimmons is right, it will not work in that motherboard. You need a Celeron 1.0 or 1.1 (not 1.0a or 1.1a). If you want to use a Celeron 1.0a or 1.1a you will need to buy a new motherboard, like the TUSL2-C, otherwise you'll have to find a store that carries the older Celerons.

Note that the celerons you need have 128k cache and NOT 256k cache (among other features). So find the best celeron with 128k cache that you can.
