ASUS CUSL2-C performance issue

Last week I upgraded my MOBO from an Abit BP6 to an Ausus CUSL2-C. I used ALL of my old hardware, cpu and such. I reloaded the OS's from the ground up. My problem is now all of my benchmarks and games (Unreal Tournament) run MUCH slower that of the BP6.

Is there something I'm missing or doing wrong?

Here is what I have-

Asus CUSL2-C
700 PIII
512MB CRUCIAL CAS2
20GB 7200 Western Digital(EIDE)
SB 128 PCI
56K MODEM BLASTER PCI
IBM 10/100 NIC PCI(2 of them)
32 MB Viper 770 Ultra AGP
10X DVD ROM (EIDE)
Windows ME/2000 Dual boot (New FULL installs on both OS's)
(The poor performance is the same in both OS's)
