I just purchased a new Asus CUSL2-C board and something has me a little concerned. Instead of the model name (CUSL2-C) being stamped on the PCB itself, between the pci slots, it's just a little white sticker. I have built lots of computers over the last couple years, and used lots of Asus boards, but this is new to me. Every board I have ever used had the name/model stamped on the PCB. I can't find anything on the board itself that says it's a CUSL2-C except for that little sticker that looks like something I printed on my Label-Maker in 2 seconds. Do you guys have this too? Also, where is your serial# located on yours? Mine is a sticker on the side of the very last slot (CNR.
I bought it from a reputable company, but this still seems weird. I built a T-Bird system with a new Asus A7V just last week and it had the model/name stamped on the board. What do you guys think?
Do you have the sticker instead of the stamp? Where is your Serial# located?
