Asus CUSL2-C BP Question

I'm putting together a linux box around this board and the case I bought has front usb ports. The board, however, had no support for any front usb ports, just two extras out the back. Would I be able to plug the two front usb ports into the spots for the two back usb ports?

Ok...according the asus manual...the first usb port pins are arrayed like this: power, no pin, -, +, gnd
the second usb port pins are arrayed like this: no pin, gnd, +, -, pwr

both usb ports on the case are arranged as:
vcc, -, +, gnd, and a free dangling (attached by a length of wire) gnd pin.

I'm starting to think I'd fry something if I tried it, but I would like a second opinion.
