ASUS CUSL2 and Press F1 error at bootup after restart from window error

If i shut off the puter without shutting down first, like for errors, I get an annoying as hell press F1, no keyboard present message. I want to strangle the little bastard. If I have no keyboard how can I press F friggin 1?

I have to disconnect and reconnect the KB evey time this happens. ANy one havbe this problem?
