ASUS.com hacked....check it out!!!!!!!!!!!1

<< Damn some people are idiots. >>

Why, because they can hack a site? ASUS should have known better.

Everybody is so fed up with viruses and hackes today, but if you are fed up, do a better job securing your network/site.

The real idiots here were ASUS, they should have had a better security system.

PCResources, my point is to convey my frustration over the reality that there are anarchists out there who delibratly attempt to undermine other peoples progress...

Ok, i know what you mean, but i still believe that if you cannot stop hackers from accessing your site, you need to look into your security system.

Besides, most of these anarchists are just kids having fun, kind of like you (i do not know how old you are though) and me did when we were youngsters, you know prank calls and so on... ;-)

PCResources, could you tell Ivana Tinkle that she has a message?

Thanks. 😉

Hehe, jk, I've actually never made a prank phone call and I haven't the faintest idea (okay, I have a bit of an idea, but not much) on how to hack.

Hackers are great people who are gods and should be worshipped. I mean, scriptkiddies are little stupid epsilons thinking they're smart but hackers, who write their own script or program by themselves, are gods in their own right.

Yeah, people who attempt to destroy other's work.... They are number one in my book! (please.)

Disgrace, would you feel the same way about the vandels who attacked your car?

I have a feeling Disgraced is like one of the people at my school..

he literally likes everything bad. it's the weirdest thing. he must have been brought up really wrong, because he seems to have no morals whatsoever..

I hate him like nuts (I can't help it), and he drives me insane..

It's back up now.

I remember when I had this 3rd party poll on my site, and someone hacked the damn thing and change all the content and put up some stupid questions, I was pissed and didn't know what to do, cuz I wasn't even the host of the site. You would think these guys would have a good secure network.

Hackers are what makes the world turn people.. we wouldnt have nearly the level of technology we do if not for hackers. crackers are the ones you guys are bitching about, get it straight. disgrace is somewhat correct in what he says, why dont you guys stop being fools and look at what he really means before you jump all over him.

Yeah, you think some nice little programmers brought us DivX?
Who make the NO-cd patches? it sure aint the game manufacturers.
You should all be on your knees thanking hackers.

Ur a dumbass

hacking is wrong, just because asus didnt have enough security, is not asus's fault
if someone vandelized your house, its not ur fault that you bought a lock that could be picked.

PCResources, there's just no friggin way to make a site 100% secure.

And in this case, its hardly critical either, since their webpage really has nothing to do with their business, aside from informing customers, or potential customers about their products.

Would be worse for companies such as Sun, since they'd lose alot of credibility, or E-bay(for crying out loud, WTF, cant we even say e-bay, give us a break), for obvious reason.

And either way, I agree with Chiwawa, no matter how bad their security is, there's no reason to vandalize their homepage, thats like keying someone's car, nothing but stupid.

well chiwawa... woof

Maybe you could be my watchdog.

Sure, hackers are BAD people doing BAD things... Hacking the Asus site really didn't do them any harm, now did it, and if it did, it was just because they showed their level of security.

<< if someone vandelized your house, its not ur fault that you bought a lock that could be picked. >>

Well, if i could reassemble my house by copying it to the right location, i wouldn't mind. Come on, get real, you really cannot make that comparison... I will now make a ridiculus comparison, copying program cd's is just like if you were to go into the creators home and smash up his stereo system.

<< And either way, I agree with Chiwawa, no matter how bad their security is, there's no reason to vandalize their homepage, thats like keying someone's car, nothing but stupid. >>

BTW, you still have your Malibu?

You know what someone did the other day? F*cking keyed it.

Man, that's f*cked up

It was in storage for three years, and it was out three days before some d*ickless piece of sh*t keyed it.

I would have given anything to catch him doing it, it would have been worth him doing it just to catch him doing it.

Anyone knows where that came from?

Again, if i could just copy the paint back to the car just the way it was before, then key it all you want. And again, you also will recieve a stupid comparison: downloading mp3's is just like going into the home of the producer and hitting him with a hammer.

Asus security obviously stink, this was too easy.
