I have an Inwin J508 case and an Asus P4T-E (478) motherboard. When I put the motherboard in the case it won't post. It turns itself off after 5 seconds. When I take it out of the case, it decides it wants to boot. Its not the power supply because I took it out when I took the motherboard out and tested it. All componenets are installed correctly. I know its this damned case but I don't know why. I *think* the motherboard is touching some metal on the case causing a short out but I don't know what to do... Thanks!

Yep it sounds like a grounding problem, did you double check all the standoffs? You might have one in the wrong place, make sure they all align right to the board.

Are there any unnecessary motherboard standoffs that could be causing the short?
