Asus BC-12D2HT BD-Rom cant read BD-RE !

I have an Asus BC-12D2HT BD-Rom and this unit cant read BD-RE disks.
It can read BD-R but not RE why?, I cant get this working.
According to the spec it should read BD-RE.

See if there is a firmware update for your drive. Burning Blu-Rays is still a somewhat new technology and it may suffer some of the same ills that early CD burning did in that just some burned disks won't read on some players.

No, no updates .
First även it SAS connected to sata achi mode it couldnt read bd-r but then i put it on sata marvell and it worked, could it be it needs to be ide.
Bit i havet an ssd,

My last post looks like I was drunk! Damm this tablets and spellings get even worse.

Back on track then, I tested a BD burner in the computer and this reads bd re in the computer and I tested the BD ROM in another computer and still no reading of BD-RE discs, so its the reader then. I also tested BD-RE disc in my laptop *yes it supports bd discs but that one couldn't either read the discs.

So is it like that BD-ROMs cant read burned BD-RE...
Then why can an ordinary bluray player read the discs... and why do the manufacter says it can read...
