Hello,

After putting my new setup together, I get no signal for VGA and the system doesnt POST. It powers up and all the fans go, but nothing else happens. I removed everything fromthe chassis and tried to benchmark test it, leaving only the cpu + fans and no memory, then with memory...still nothing.

I question the PSU, it was working on the previous system it was in. Its only a 400W though. I have been searching all over Asus' site for power requirements for the AV8 and have not found anything. I dont want to go out and buy another PSU unless I know that its too low watt for the board, does anyone else know?

THanks.

Connect the speakers to your motherboard and listen to what it has to say upon booting. That should at least help you.

As far as the PSU is concerned, it may be fine, but connect that +12V plug (it's a square 2x2 plug) if it isn't already connected. Without it, most motherboards (with that connector) can't start up properly.
