ASUS AV8 Delux or wait for the new NForce4???

Hey all, quick question.

Tiger direct has the Asus AV8 Delux MB, and the Athlon64 3400+ processor for $300 after rebate. Its $400 prior to rebate, about the same price at Newegg.com.
My question is do I go this route at $300 or wait till the NForce4 MBs come out get one of those and probably have to get a 3200+ chip instead due to the increase MB cost.

So what I am really asking is...is the Nforce4 worth waiting for and worth the extra $$$.

The problem here is not test your patience for waiting NForce4, but test your braveness of taking risky Tigerdirect rebate ($100 for Tigerdirect = meat for tiger , man, I avoid)
 
what's your system specs?

personally, wait. i don't see there being a price difference. more stuff, same price. plus, demand is crazy this time of year. wait til after christmas and scoop one up.
 
Prices always go down just after x-mas, so if you can wait then whatever you decide on will be less $$

Once the NF4 MB's have been out for a while that alone will cause more competitive pricing for all 939 boards, that is another reason to wait.

I thought I read that the NF4's used only PCIE slots, that would mean a new vid card as well

Lastly go with a .90 CPU like a 3200+ or 3500+
