Hi!

I bought a new Asus Ares graphics card and installed a new Hale 90
I tried to run my system with Hale 90, and it worked correctly.

When I tried to install the Ares card, it worked. When I wanted to install the drivers, I uninstalled everything that had been with CCC to do, and restarted the computer.

Then a red light befan to shine on the Ares and the fan started going to the max, and I got no picture.

What should I do?

Tried to reset cmos, but still the same.
My XFX 5870 is still working.

My computer:
Antec 1200
Q9550
Corsair H70
XFX Radeon 5870 (/ Asus Ares)
150Gb VelociRaptor 10000rpm
Asus P5QD TURBO
Corsair Twin2x4096 8500C5
EDIT: Hale 90 1000W (http://www.nzxt.com/new/products/power_supplies/hale90_1000w)

You should reseat it, and blow out the PCI-e slot first with a can of compressed air or air compressor. Make sure that all the pins are in the slot and all the extra power cables connected firmly. Also try different video outputs.

I have tried to switch between the two GPUs many times, so I don't think that the PCI-E slot is the problem. Also, I have connected the power cables many times.

It might be if you also are running the 5870 in crossfire with it. I think the q9550 uses alot of power at 4GHz.
I have only one PCI-E slot and have resetted my BIOS, no OC anymore

I don't think he's running Crossfire because his motherboard only has 1 PEG slot.
Correct
