ASUS AN8 Sli owners.. How high HTT you getting stable?

Anandtech only got 245. I need around 290 for my overclock.

Has the ASUS gotten any better?

I would go with DFI but it's NB HSF looks to be irreplacable with a passive HS since it has no clearance sitting uderneth video card.🙁 ANYWAY ASUS is the only game in town that has spread mem slots and affords a passive NB so I hope it clocks well.
 
Mine did 304 1:1 with Patriot tccd. I had to use 2t, but the board is so fast and the extra HTT made up for it. I wished I had never gotten rid of it. Tried the DFI and I just don't think it had the quality the Asus does. I would recommend it to you, nice board.

I suppose you ask for 1:1 ratio max stable HTT. In my case 240 Mhz, I will try 241, 242...till 250Mhz and post here my results ok?

 
Well, the issue only lies while using 2 x 512MB sticks of RAM. Using my 2 x 256MB KHX3000 BH-5, I was able to run 280 with RAM set to 166 (DDR 450 2-2-2-6 1T). Of course you take a performance loss with divider even though the timings were much tighter. Always better performance running 1:1. I can tell you this, the Asus was much faster at 304 even with 2T than the DFI was at 280 1T. Like I said, the board is fast and the extra HTT you get, even though you have to run 2T, makes up for it.
 
i read somewhere that 2T give a 30MHz performance penalty roughly........

how the hell did you get 245MHz 2-2-2-6....that is unbelievable with 3VOLTS....i heard that booster doesn't work with Asus

I can take HTT up to 322mhz stable, with memory on a divider at 1T or 2T (max 1:1 287mhz 2T, I think this is my rams limit). But my max ram at 1T is 240mhz 2-3-2-7 2.85v or 1.5-2-2-7 2.95v, at 241 it becomes unstable regardless of timings or voltage
