Hi,

I had a question about my monitor Asus AL2051W.

I am curretly using the blue exit on my monitor (not sure how to name it):

Is it better to use the white DVI exit? If so, why?
And what kind of DVI cable should I get ifso?

Thanks in advance!

the blue output is VGA
in many cases, there's not much of a practical difference, although DVI is supposed to better
mostly it's a difference between analog (VGA) and digital (DVI) signals or something
so there's not really that much of a need to get a new cable (especially so if your GPU doesn't doesn't have a DVI output)
if you do want to get a DVI cable, you probably need a DVI-D

you probably don't need dual link, but dual link probably isn't much more expensive anyway

dual link just supports higher bandwidth than single link (higher res, refresh, etc)
single link is capable of transferring 1920x1200 60Hz

Oke thanks, I couldn't find my answer to the following question, so I will ask it here:p

Will my FPS go up in games on 1680x1250 with DVI-D single link? I am using a VGA now.

There will be no difference in FPS. But there might be some difference in visual quality of the picture on the screen.
