I own a A7N266-VM/AA/LAN revision 1.05 motherboard and a V770K case with Line Out and Mic front audio connectors. I want to hook the front Mic connector up but leave the Line Out using the back audio jack so I can use it with a 4.1 speaker setup. I have the Mic connector setup fine but am wondering about the Line Out, Line In jumpers on the AAPANEL. The Line Out and Line In pins have jumpers on them by default (back audio ports enabled) and the Mic pins have no jumper on them at all. Should I just leave the two jumpers connecting the Line Out and Line In pins in place and hook up the cable for my front Mic audio port to the Mic pins? Would that allow me to do what I am aiming for (Mic jack in front, Line Out and Line In jacks in back)?

Just a speculation, but I think you're correct. I had an Asus iPanel Deluxe which was set up to use that type of header (although it had all of the connectors consolidated into one plug :(), and one thing they did emphasize was not to plug into both the front and rear jacks at the same time. So you wouldn't want to plug mics into both the front and rear Mic ports at once, I think. Let us know how it goes!

PS, so that's an Inwin case? Where'd you get it? :D Sounds cool.
