Asus A8V rev 2.0 Deluxe failing CPU test

I bought this board and cpu bundle in Jan 2005. I never sold it and just now decided to put it together. The chip is ADA3400e4paz ( not sure about the e4p but i know it ends in AZ). Asus said I needed a new bios, so i got one from them. Same ******, failing cpu test. Any ideas?

I would use a different power supply. I had similar issues with an older asus board. Changing power supplies fixed the problem. I use antec, enermax, or fortron power supplies. Fortron (same as sparkle) 400w sells for around $40 at newegg.

changing power supply did nothing. Anything else short of RMA'ing the board?
