asus a8v problems

seems like i cant have my promise ata133 pci controller and my onboard via raid controller enabled at the same time, i think its because of irq conflicts, but i dont exactly know how or if its possible for me to define those manually

whenever i insert the pci controller when my raid controller is enabled the raid controller doesnt work, its like the pci controller overrides it and takes the 1st spot

if anyone has any problems and solotions please let me know

After you put the pci controller in. Can you go in the bios and select the via controller as a boot device?
