ASUS A8V Deluxe with OCZ XTC 2x1024 DDR500 ... anyone got it working?

I bought OCZ Gold XTC 2x1024mb ram, and have tried it at DDR400 in my ASUS A8V Deluxe rev 1.xx motherboard, but memtest reports errors. I returned it and got another set, and again, errors. When I tested the second set in a shuttle an35 motherboard, it reported no errors.

Is there anything I need to do, like relax timings or something, to get it to work?
 
So you got it at only 200mhz? What timings is it at? You cant go less than the stock 3-4-3-8-1 by much. I have the same memory but I have mine running at 250mhz at 3-4-3-7-1. Thats as tight as they go. Anything less and they dont post.

Im not sure what your problem is, but obviously its not the memory. Gotta be a bios issue?
