$280 from tigerdirect. Looks like a great deal considering it incl. the wireless adapter. And it is in fact a 3400+ 939pin for those of you who were wondering.

I don't know if the ATers here know but TD has a REALLY bad rebate reputation...

Nice price. The only caveat is that there have been many that have had problems with TD rebates. Worth a shot if you feel lucky though.

I purchased a projector from them with a $100 rebate which I got in about 4 months, but at least I got it.

Yeah, there needs to be a rule in the rules that say "No starting of threads from Tiger Direct" :)

I've ordered many things from Tiger Direct and have always gotten a rebate back within 3 weeks. I must be in the minority. :p

Um, go ahead and correct me if I am wrong, but I pulled this table from the AMD webpage:

4000+ 2.4 GHz 1 MB 939-pin
3800+ 2.4GHz 512KB 939-pin
3700+ 2.4GHz 1MB 754-pin
3500+ 2.2GHz 512KB 939-pin
3400+ 2.4GHz 512KB 754-pin
3200+ 2.0GHz 1MB 754-pin
3200+ 2.0GHz 512KB 939-pin
3000+ 2.0GHz 512KB 754-pin
3000+ 1.8GHz 512KB 939-pin

Accoring to AMD, there is no 3400 at 939 pinout, only 754. How exactly does this make this a good deal? If it was a 3500, then yes, this would be awesome...

Anyone care to shed some light on this?

Got mine for Christmas and the rebate came in on time with Paypal ( you should have chosen Paypal mate).

Anyway, I have ordered a lot from Tigerdirect and none of the rebate missed. Most of the time, the rebates are from the manufacture not TG so i think people should stop blaming them about it. There OnRebate system is good too considering the fact that Newegg doesn't have one.

I do not know about the others here, but I am smart enough to know that when there is a manufacturer's rebate that the company you buy from has no control over that rebate. I do know that every time I have had a TD rebate that was from TD, I have had to wait much longer than the 6-8 weeks listed on the rebate form. It has been more like 6-8 months and I only got it then by following up and threatening them. They are terrible and rank right up there with Soyo. I will never order from TD again!

The $100 rebate check for the Halloween special (similar to this one) from TigerDirect was waiting in my mailbox at work.

Does paypal deduct out their percentages for something like this on a non-basic account?

Hmm, TD outlets in Miami. Wonder if it's in stock and what kind of deals they have there.

Guido, Nunzio, grab your baseball bats, we're going in.

The 3400+ is the 3500+ but with an 800 HT isntead of 1000HT.

Another thing to note, the A8V deluxe w/ wifi is an older revision of the board. There have been numerous problems with the pci/agp locks, most of which just dont work.

it shipped with rev 2 (rev 1 was the one that advertised wifi. though its still available, it is no longer advertised on the mobo box)
