Asus A8V-Deluxe and 3000+ winchester

Ok I wanted to oc my 3000+ but I don't know where to do that in the BIOS.. in my old asus a7n8x deluxe I would just go to advanced chipset options and then it would have an option to change the CPU fsb, whereas in my A8V-Deluxe I see nothing. I go to CPU configuration and it only shows the HTT speed. What do I do? Anyone with an A8V-Deluxe wanna help me out?

Asus A8V-Deluxe
3000+ Winnie
Kingston 2x 512 mb Hyperx PC3200 RAM (KHX3200AK2)


I'm quite new to A64s, I just had an athlon XP system, so it would help if you guys could help me with the whole process of overclocking an a64 🙂

I'm aware that the HTT speed is now the FSB speed? But how would I change that? i want to hit 2.2 ghz.

You can easily OC to 10% up to 220mz, but around 230 you'll probably hit a roadblock like everyone else. It's the Via K8T800Pro chipset that is holding everyone back.

i have mine running at 300HTT
which revision A8V do you have?
