ASUS A8V deluxe 90nm bios setup?

Well I just got a ASUS A8V deluxe and a 3500 90nm but I read either here or somewhere else that you have to update the bios, was it here? Does anyone know where that post is? I know silly question I used search but that did not help me... thanks

I believe ASUS includes an automatic BIOS update feature w/that board. Check the ASUS site...good luck.

If I were you, I would try to boot up first. I just recently got the A8V and the Winchester 3500+, and I thought I would have to flash the BIOS. Well, I got lucky, and I got the newest BIOS already on the board. If you don't, you can find instructions on how to flash the BIOS here: http://forums.anandtech.com/me...9&threadid=1426420

Gibbsk, where did you get your board? What retailer, I mean?

I got my board from ZipZoomFly.com. They also included the Asus Wi-Fi kit for free, so that was cool.
