Asus A8V 64-bit MB & SCSI Compatability

I hope I'm not breaking any rules here. I am not attempting to cross post, but only ask if anyone knows if
the Asus A8V 64-bit MB is compatible with Adaptec 39320 [Ultra320] adapters. I'm completely bafffled, and can find no one that seems to know anything about a situation like this. I've tried everything I know, and several things that have been suggested, but the MB [BIOS] does not recognize the SCSI adapter.
Any comments appreciated, and if this is a cross post that is not allowed, please delete it and not me.

Hey, you've found at least ONE person who knows that kind of situation.

To summarize, the mainboard DOES recognize the SCSI adapter, but doesn't start its BIOS. Everybody please post to babentx's original thread on this, here:
