ASUS A8R32 deluxe boot problem

I've only just completed my new system build today. The new system parts are listed in my sig. This is my first AMD build so I've just popped my cherry, was always an intel man.

My first problem of 2 is that I can't enter bios on boot with my saitek eclipse USB keyboard. I had too hook up a PS2 keyboard to get into the bios. I tried enabling USB Legacy device in the bios with no luck and I've updated the m/b to the latest bios. The keyboard and mouse are connected to my monitor USB hub.

One other problem I have is, when I boot up I don't like the long delay when it try's to Initialize USB devices on bios start. Default it was set to 20sec delay but I changed it to 10sec which is still too long. It'll also freeze after rougly every second boot on the USB initialization screen and I'll have to restart. Please help.

It does and I happen to have a saitek eclipse AND the A8R32. I say its a faulty keyboard....
You ARE pressing delete, right?

yep I'm pressing delete and nothing happens. Even when I use a ps2 keyboard and go in the bios I have the saitek connected and it won't even work then. What did you end up doing???

Someone else had a problem booting with his USB hub plugged in. If it was not plugged in it would boot just fine.

thanx for the help guys, it's fixed. It ended up being the hub on the monitor, so I just got rid of it. I plugged the mouse and keyboard straight in the back of the pc. No delay when booting now.
