Anyone have any idea why the BIOS crash free utility would just kick in out of no where? I left my box on and I came back to work this morning with the computer looking for either a floppy or a CD. I did a little Googling and found out that it is ASUS' BIOS crash free utility trying to find the .ROM to flash my BIOS.
I eventually downloaded the newest BIOS, 1405 and burnt it to a CD and renamed it A8N32SLI.ROM and it flashed it once. It rebooted and then it seemed like it didn't take so I let it do it once more only this time instead of doing a hard shut down I just restarted the computer.
Does anyone know why the BIOS would just become corrupt like that? Could it be a bad mobo?
