This new MB won't boot. No picture, no beep sound, stand-by power LED is on, CPU's fan & Video card's fan both are running, Can anyone give me a idea what I did wrong. Thanks.

MB: Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe
CPU: AMD Opteron 146 (OEM) or Athlon 64 3200+ (Box)
Memory: Crucial 2x512MB (CT6464Z40B) or Corsair 2x1GB (VS2GBKIT400C3)
Video Card: ATI Radeon X700 Pro or PNY Geforce 7600 GS
Power Supply: Antec Neo Power (480W) or Antec True Power 2.0 (430W)

Nothing (HD, FD, DVD Rewritter etc.) connect to MB except keyboard & mouse. I was trying to locate the problem so I bought another same MB with all the 2nd portion parts & swap them. Both MB have same problem. Only fans & S-B LED are on. No picture. No POST. :(

Please HELP.

Hey everyone here at Anandtech my first post, its too bad that it had to be a post asking for help instead of contributing but i guess it cant be helped... anyway i also have the same issues jndoggett has with his Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe. It simply wont boot. the fans dont change speeds at all during boot, they simply stay at their default speeds before loading anything up. Its odd though because everything seems to work ok. All the fans work, the lights seem to be ok, but it simply will not even beep or anything. At first i thought it might be the CLRTC thinking i might have messed something up in there because leaving the jumper cap in pins 2-3 instead of 1-2 causes boot failure. But it was nothing of the sort. Anyway any help would be greatly appreciated, because I am at a complete loss here.

regards

Stupid me. After reading User Guide page by page, I find out that I forgot to connect the 4-pin (P4 Power). Now it works fine. Hope this may help you, Kurikun.
