Okay, I have the Asus board already, I'm considering returning it for the ECS. The cost difference will be around $70 - it was a combo deal with Athlong64 3500+. The main difference between the boards, that I can see, is the onboard graphics on the Asus (GeForce 6100). To my untrained eye, the difference in all the other specs is neglible.

Compare ASUS and ECS

If the main difference is in fact just the onboard graphics, I can take the $70 and apply towards a dedicated video card - probably GeForce 7300GS.

I just want to make sure that I'm not missing something here and giving up on the Asus board just to save the extra $70. Is there a significant difference or should I make the switch? Thanks all!

Specs are one thing, reality is another. Almost *any* board is better than ecs/ pcchips, but that's just one guy's opinion...
